I am a disability Support worker.
My client desperately needed to use the bathroom after doing her shopping at Aldi.
The worker at Aldi informed me that there was a communal toilet in the area and that the cafe on the corner had the key to this bathroom.
I went in to ask the lady working in the cafe for the key to the toilet. She lied and said there was no toilet in the area and the closest was McDonald’s.
I told her that I had been informed there was one and that my disabled client needed to use the bathroom. The lady rudely told me that the owner of the cafe doesn’t allow “random members of the public” to use the bathroom.
I was in shock and appalled at the discrimination against my client and that this cafe would not allow a disabled member of the community to use the bathroom. I would like the name of either the lady who served me today or the name of the owner so I can pass it on the Anti discrimination board for disabled people in Australia. - Richard Davis Added April 14, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★Great coffee, food and service.

The staff who served me at my last visit was lazy and arrogant. The burger is greasy and poorly presented. Apart from that, the hygiene issue is my top concern as when I see through into their kitchen while I was at the counter, their kitchen looks gross, feels like haven't been professionally cleaned for a long time. The cook top and frying pan looks totally covered with grease. Probably that's the reason why the burger is greasy. But anyway, I'll definitely steer away from this place.
