- Alex Broad Added April 02, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★Came here with a few friends and the food was sooo good. The staff where super awesome and very friendly, which is so nice to see. would I recommend this place = very much so. Just get some lunch/late breakfast and enjoy. So good!!!
- Victoria Murrant Added March 28, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Not kid friendly; there aren't high chairs available(which is fair enough because it's a small cafe, just FYI parents) and we felt kinda judged by everyone there for having our 15 month old with us.
Great food and coffee, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I would recommend coming here, but unfortunately I probably won't come back. - Grahame Chaseling Added March 17, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★I was welcomed with a smile and my order was taken with attention, courtesy and patience. Each time coffee or food was placed before me the waitress made eye contact with me and checked that I had everything I required. She brought sugar without having to be asked (which is becoming more the norm). Side Pocket Espresso is a happy place. The staff treat each other, and customers, well. The food, coffee and cakes were outstanding. If they were average I'd still come back because I was made welcome and treated exceptionally well. This small, somewhat hidden gem is somewhere I will bring clients, knowing with absolute certainty that they will leave happy and impressed.
